Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent - Residential to lead and oversee residential construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, manage construction teams, ensure adherence to safety standards, and deliver high-quality residential developments on time and within budget. Your leadership will drive project success, foster team collaboration, and uphold the highest standards of construction excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape vibrant communities through expert project management and hands-on supervision. Valid driver license required. Responsibilities Lead and supervise residential construction sites, ensuring projects progress according to schedule, specifications, and safety regulations. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize workflow and productivity. Review construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to verify accuracy and facilitate smooth execution. Develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as BuilderTrend; monitor progress regularly. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local construction safety regulations, including OSHA standards. Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and adherence to design intent. Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately for effective site implementation. Coordinate construction schedule activities with project managers to meet deadlines efficiently. Supervise crew management activities, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and safety briefings. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy residential construction management. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple crews effectively while maintaining safety and quality standards. Proficiency in construction management software. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling, blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and project planning. Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) and construction site safety protocols. Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams confidently and foster collaboration. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately using tools like ohmmeters for electrical inspections when necessary. Knowledge of managing contracts, procurement processes, and managing project documentation efficiently. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
