Construction Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee night shift operations at a Data Center in Manassas, VA. This role involves supervising daily field operations, managing subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality control, and maintaining project schedules to achieve timely and within-budget completion. As the on-site leader, you will handle logistics, interpret blueprints, resolve technical issues, and maintain comprehensive daily logs. Responsibilities + Manage night-time operations from 6 PM to 6 AM. + Conduct daily site inspections for quality assurance. + Coordinate materials and equipment deliveries with vendors and suppliers. + Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies, conduct safety meetings, and ensure a secure job site. + Maintain detailed daily logs of progress, crew sizes, equipment used, and weather conditions. Essential Skills + 5 years of construction experience. + Proven ability in construction management and supervision. + Experience in commercial construction and working with general contractors. + Strong understanding of safety standards and practices. + Reliability and ability to work the night shift. + Competency in using a computer. Additional Skills & Qualifications + No certifications or software experience needed. Work Environment This position is 100% on-site at a data center in Manassas, VA. The work schedule consists of four 12-hour shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM. Overtime opportunities are available. The contract lasts for three months, concluding when the project is handed over to the end client. Employees will receive holiday pay, though no PTO is offered. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Herndon, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
