Virginia , Lynchburg Job Description Superintendent - Civil / Sitework Construction We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on civil and sitework construction projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in earthwork and underground utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily field operations for sitework projects from start to finish Manage crews, subcontractors, and equipment on-site Coordinate clearing, excavation, grading, and utility installation activities Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope Monitor schedules, manpower, and productivity Work closely with project managers and office staff Identify and resolve field issues in real time Enforce safety standards and maintain jobsite compliance

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in civil/sitework construction Strong background in clearing, excavation, grading, and underground utilities Proven leadership experience managing field crews and subcontractors Ability to read plans and understand project specifications Strong communication and problem-solving skills
