Manassas, VA. Ashburn, VA. Richmond, VA. Culpeper, VA. This is a full-time, in-person position. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all MEP activities from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out, ensuring compliance with project specifications and Holder standards. Provide direct supervision and guidance to MEP subcontractors and vendors, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, major equipment, lighting, fire alarm, security, building automation systems, CCTV, power distribution, and communication devices. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for MEP systems, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC programs and support the Energy Control and Safety Program to maintain a zero-accident culture. Manage punch lists, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive timely resolution of challenges using all available resources. Oversee start-up and commissioning activities, ensuring systems meet performance and operational requirements. Maintain strong relationships with owner representatives, architects, engineers, and clients while supervising subcontractors and vendors. Provide leadership in workforce planning, logistics coordination, and resource allocation for MEP activities.Qualifications Required:
15+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems. Proven ability to manage complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers, stadiums, or other special-use facilities. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and commissioning protocols. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field. Familiarity with scheduling tools, QA/QC processes, and advanced commissioning procedures.
