This dynamic role involves managing demolition crews, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that all work complies with safety standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a thorough understanding of demolition processes, tools, and safety protocols. Duties Supervise demolition crews to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans Coordinate daily work schedules, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute demolition plans accurately Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets safety standards and project specifications Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid for scheduling and project tracking Manage site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and conduct regular safety meetings Oversee the use of tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, contract management, and procurement of necessary permits Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a focus on demolition projects Supervising experience leading demolition crews or construction teams on-site Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and Primavera for scheduling and documentation Familiarity with construction estimating, budgeting, contracts, and project scheduling techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to demolition activities Hands-on experience with heavy machinery operation and maintenance of tools such as ohmmeters and pipeline testing equipment Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously Construction site experience emphasizing safety procedures, quality control, and efficient workflow management Join our team as a Demolition Foreman to lead impactful projects that reshape environments while fostering a culture of safety excellence.
