Job Description

The Construction Superintendent will oversee and coordinate daily construction activities at the Refuge - Richmond, VA but could potentially work at various Lawson work sites. This position will be accountable for oversight of onsite supervision and management responsibilities across multiple trades simultaneously. Individuals must be able to manage subcontractors and construction flow appropriately. Individuals must be able to take a lead role to provide direction to subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, onsite Lawson Assistant Superintendents, and Field Techs. Roles/Responsibilities:
LMA Financial Management Communication, Monitoring, Tracking Daily Site Task Management Project Closeout Physical Build Ownership Schedule Management Quality Control Scope and Spec Management Inspection Management Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience with running projects between $8 to $30 million. Good human relations skills, and demonstrated ability to cooperate with subcontractors, residents, peers, and supervisors. Ability to organize and problem-solve effectively. Ability to exercise sound judgment and self-control. Ability to travel between various work sites. Enthusiasm, positive attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity and honesty High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction. Multi-family construction experience is a plus. OSHA-10 Responsible Land Disturber (Virginia RLD)
Physical Functions:
Bending, kneeling, stretching, climbing stairs and ladders, squatting, and lifting to sixty (60) pounds.
