$110,000-$125,000 per year Reports to: Director of Operations Position Summary Peter Johnson Builders is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager (PM3) to manage large-scale and/or multiple concurrent construction projects. This position is responsible for project execution, financial performance, team leadership, client communication, and coordination with design and trade partners. The Senior Project Manager will also mentor junior Project Managers and Project Coordinators while helping ensure projects are completed in accordance with company standards, schedules, budgets, and client expectations. Responsibilities Project & Operational Leadership Lead the execution of multiple complex construction projects from planning through completion. Develop project delivery strategies, schedules, and priorities. Coordinate the work of Superintendents, Foremen, Project Coordinators, trade partners, and other project stakeholders. Mentor junior Project Managers and Project Coordinators. Ensure projects follow Peter Johnson Builders' established processes and quality standards. Client & Project Communication Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout assigned projects. Lead owner-architect-contractor (OAC) meetings. Coordinate communication with architects, engineers, consultants, trade partners, and internal teams. Provide timely project updates and reporting to clients and company leadership. Identify project risks and communicate solutions proactively. Financial Management Manage project budgets, forecasts, costs, and profitability. Review and approve major project purchases within assigned authority. Negotiate pricing and scope with trade partners and vendors. Maintain accurate and timely project financial documentation. Monitor changes in project scope and associated cost impacts. Qualifications Demonstrated experience managing residential and/or commercial construction projects. Experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple projects or complex construction scopes. Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, architectural and engineering documents, permitting, scheduling, and project controls. Ability to manage project budgets and schedules and identify potential risks. Proficiency with Buildertrend, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong client-facing and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned project sites. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to regularly visit and inspect active construction sites. Ability to walk, stand, climb, and navigate active job-site conditions. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions as required. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. Ability to travel between assigned project locations as required.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
