Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented New Construction Coordinator, Real Estate, to join our team and drive the successful planning and execution of new construction projects. This role is essential in coordinating all phases of construction from initial planning through project completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, construction industry experience, and proficiency with construction management software to facilitate seamless communication among stakeholders. Duties Coordinate and oversee all aspects of new construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to develop detailed project plans using Primavera P6, Civil engineering project management software, and other construction scheduling tools. Manage construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating software to ensure accurate cost projections. Monitor project progress through regular site visits and utilize construction management software like ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and communication. Analyze Excel data for cost management, schedule updates, and performance metrics to support decision-making. Assist in contract negotiations and ensure compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate project coordination meetings, track action items, and maintain comprehensive records of all project activities. Support project scheduling efforts by developing timelines using Primavera P6 or scheduling software tailored for civil engineering projects. Ensure adherence to safety standards on construction sites by working closely with site teams and reviewing safety protocols regularly. Conduct analysis of construction plans and schedules to identify potential risks or delays early in the process. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management or civil engineering project management with a focus on new building developments. Strong proficiency with Primavera P6, HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis), and civil engineering project management software. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent time management skills. Solid understanding of construction estimating, scheduling software, contracts, and cost control methods. Hands-on experience working on construction sites is highly preferred to understand field challenges firsthand. Exceptional analysis skills for evaluating project data, schedules, and plans to optimize outcomes. Effective communication skills for coordinating between stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of construction industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in project planning and execution.
