Job Description The Superintendent will:
Lead all on-site construction activities for a $78M ground-up middle school project in Stafford County, VA. Manage daily field operations, schedules, subcontractors, and site logistics. Coordinate sitework, construction sequencing, and milestone completion. Ensure project safety, quality, and compliance standards are maintained. Collaborate with project managers, owners, architects, and trade partners. Drive schedule performance and proactively resolve field issues. Conduct progress meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. Oversee inspections, punch list activities, and project closeout processes. Mentor field staff and support Assistant Superintendents as needed. Contribute to successful project delivery while maintaining strong client relationships. The Successful Applicant A successful Superintendent should have: Experience serving as a Superintendent or high-level Assistant Superintendent on commercial construction projects. Ability to manage field operations, subcontractors, and project schedules. Experience with ground-up construction. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work on projects throughout Northern Virginia.
