Full time Monday through Friday hours flexible between 6:30am-6pm to attend school programming before and after as needed Ready to lead with purpose? AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs that are designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an Assistant Area Manager , you'll partner closely with the Area Manager to support Site Directors and Group Leaders across multiple school locations. We're looking for an early learning professional who: Enjoys coaching and supporting a team in a fast-paced, student-centered environment Feels confident stepping into leadership and decision-making when needed Takes pride in delivering a high-quality, consistent experience for students, families, and school partners Communicates clearly, builds trust, and leads with empathy Is organized, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple sites and priorities In this role, you will: Support and coach Site Directors and Group Leaders through regular site visits, check-ins, and monthly meetings Partner with the Area Manager to help execute priorities that support program quality, safety, and compliance Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development in partnership with Field HR Conduct observations and provide feedback to reinforce expectations and strengthen day-to-day operations Monitor licensing requirements, ratios, safety practices, and site readiness, escalating concerns as needed Step in to support site operations, coverage, and problem-solving when additional leadership support is required Help maintain consistent communication with staff, families, and school partners Act as a trusted extension of the Area Manager, helping translate strategy into action across sitesRequirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; BA or BS in Business Management, Education, or related field preferred. Master's Degree or higher a plus. CPR and First Aid certification required Previous experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred Demonstrated leadership and team supervision experience preferred Ability to travel locally and attend company meetings and training sessions (may include occasional out-of-state travel) Why Join Us?
