RJS has multiple projects throughout South Dakota. Canditates must have a minimum of 5 years commercial construction experience. You must have the ability and past experience to completly understand and construct new buildings from the ground up through building completion. Federal construction experience is helpful. Qualified canditates should fully understand all aspects of construction activities and be able to lift 50 pounds, stand/walk and inspect the jobsite as needed. Safety and being able to organize/ conduct safety meetings is a requirement. communication with all team members including Owner/owners rep, architects, engineers, inspectors. Hold weekly progress meetings, able to follow a master schedule /mirror the progress with a 3 week look ahead schedule. RJS offers 2 weeks paid vacation, sick pay, health and dental insurance plan. Reimbursmant for mileage pid per the currant goverment rate or assignment of an RJS vehical if available will be provided. Job Requirements 5 years commercial construction. Construct new and remodel of existing buildings, Journeyman carpenter. physically fit to lift 50 pounds ,stand and walk for long durations, valid drivers license, able to access Government sites, Pass a Government background check. Past experience in new and remodel construction projects. safety minded self starter able to supervise multiple tasks. #hc80135
