PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR - CONSTRUCTION DIVISION
We are a multi-generation family-owned construction company that has been serving the community for over 50 years. Our company specializes in commercial and residential construction including new construction, remodels, renovations, painting and earthwork. As we continue to grow, we are focused on improving systems, implementing new processes and building a strong team that takes pride in quality work and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a motivated, organized and hands-on Project Manager / Estimator to support our carpentry and renovation divisions. This position will oversee projects from bid to completion while coordinating field crews, fulfilling materials, customer communication and project operations. We are looking for someone who is excited to help grow the company, communicates well and is willing to take ownership in a fast-paced environment. This is a leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, staying organized, improving efficiency and being involved in both field and office operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Project & Operations Management Manage projects from bid to completion including but not limited to; Manage and obtain contracts, change orders, subcontracts, warranties and submittals Coordinate daily operations with field crews, subcontractors and office staff Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to company standards Transport, load, and unload supplies, tools, or machinery at appropriate locations, according to projects plans. Supervise field crews, review progress and ensure SOP compliance Assist with dispatch, scheduling, billing support and project documentation Estimating & Bidding Prepare, track and submit bids and estimates Maintain bid logs and meet bid goals Review plans and develop accurate project scopes and pricing Equipment & Fleet Coordination Monitor equipment condition and coordinate repairs Track repair tickets, purchasing and inventory updates Sales & Business Development Build and maintain customer relationships Follow up with existing and prospective customers Support outside sales, lead generation and company growth initiatives Safety & Compliance Support company safety goals and programs Complete jobsite audits and track incidents or safety concerns Assist with safety meetings, training and incentive programs Leadership & Personnel Management Assist with hiring, training and employee development Assist with on boarding subcontractors and owner/operators Help lead, schedule and support field crews Participate in employee reviews and disciplinary processes as needed Skills, experience, and other requirements: Experience in construction project management, estimating or operations Experience with various types of properties and conditions, including homes, commercial buildings, new construction, lead-safe practices. Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Ability to work both in the office and field environments Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience supervising field crews preferred Computer Skills:
Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Word, Scheduling/Estimating software, Computer Ease. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to walk, stoop, bend, and carry 75- 100 pounds frequently throughout the day, including extension ladders and 5-gallon buckets. $82,000 - $85,000/year based on experience. 5 years minimum experience preferred. Full-time with medical and dental benefits. 401K matching. EEO Employer To Apply:
