Job Description

Job Summary A growing mechanical contractor in the Puget Sound region is seeking a Project Manager - Construction to lead commercial plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a project management professional who understands both field execution and project financials and wants true ownership of complex plumbing projects. This role offers the chance to work with an established team, a strong regional project pipeline, and supportive leadership that values communication, accountability, and proactive problem solving. You will partner closely with field leaders, general contractors, owners, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and moving forward. The environment is collaborative, hands-on, and well suited for someone who enjoys making decisions, building relationships, and bringing all the moving pieces together. Key Responsibilities Manage commercial and multifamily plumbing projects from preconstruction through final closeout. Own project budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, billing, change orders, and overall profitability. Develop and maintain project schedules while coordinating milestones with field leadership and general contractors. Serve as a key point of contact for general contractors, owners, vendors, and project stakeholders. Oversee RFIs, submittals, procurement, change management, BIM/VDC coordination, and project documentation. Conduct jobsite visits, track labor productivity, resolve project challenges, and lead closeout activities.
Compensation and Benefits Salary range:
$100,000 to $115,000 per year.
