Potelco, Inc. seeks a great Construction Coordinator to join the team in the office at Puyallup, WA . The Construction Coordinator position incorporates project management and related field construction experience into a single position that is intended to assist the general foreman and create growth opportunities in electric operations. This role will split its time with 75% of work preformed in the field and 25% in the office. The pay range for the role is $38-$42/hour.What You'll Do Responsibilities :
Pre-viewing construction projects, coordination with customer (internal, external, and new customer) and working closely with the crew resource assigned to the project. Communicate the job readiness with all stake holders, PM, the end customer, the scheduler, and other base personnel. Identify changes in work scope, track cost for reimbursement, submit field change requests and provide updates for revenue purposes. Work closely with the General Foreman in addressing crew related matters. Requires an ability to multi-task and oversee multiple jobs in construction at the same time Coordinates processing of change orders, including approvals and execution Ability to communicate with technical and non- technical individuals on cost and construction Knowledge of host utility construction standards. Adept at tracking material and coordinating with stores on material procurement to ensure the correct material is available for scheduled job. Ability to pre-unitize job based on print provided by PM for Plats and Base.What You'll Bring Minimum Qualifications:
Understanding of engineering and construction principles related to the electric distribution and transmission systems. Well versed in computer applications such as SAP and can demonstrate an understanding for plant accounting. Proficient at using maps and tensing for Plat development, residential and commercial projects. Proficient in excel with creating spreadsheets. High school diploma or equivalent.
