General Duties:
  • Manage company resources so that the highest and best use is being achieved.
  • Review and execute duties of the contract scope of work.
  • Manage crew members and site needs.
  • Uphold both industry and Team Nelson standards and expectations.
  • Keep daily timecards and reports accurately describing crew hours and daily activities.
  • Coordinate field issues and the scope of work changes. Ensure project team and client are aligned.
  • Uphold personnel and site safety as well as equipment safety or functionality needs.
  • Manage job site master schedule, and keep up short-term schedules to track goals.
  • Assist managing of site subcontractors and vendors.
  • Advise project team of potential problems, work interferences/changes, schedule difficulties, etc. Assist in resolving such problems as required.
  • Work with project team and site foreman to ensure the project meets deadlines stays within or below budget and exceeds our client's expectations.
  • Take and convey pride in workmanship, equipment, vehicles, and tools. . This is a Safety Sensitive position. Minimum Qualifications (required):
  • Over 5+ years of experience in the construction industry for heavy civil, commercial, residential and multifamily projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications as well as implement them.
  • Ability to understand cut sheets, cut/fill #'s, elevations and pipe slopes.
  • Hold experience in both earthwork and utilities.
  • Possess both oral and written communication skills.
  • Possess both organizational and time management skills.
  • Be cost conscious and able to adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to foresee problems and pro-actively and safely take action to avoid them.
  • Exhibits integrity & ethical behavior in all facets of the duties above.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$55.00 - $62.00 per hour
