Founded in 2009, our rapid growth has enabled us to position ourselves as Western Washington's leading LED retrofit and EV charging contractor. Resound Energy, LLC Overview We are looking for a highly accountable, execution-focused Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects from contract handoff through final inspection and invoicing. This role owns the full project lifecycle—ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and with an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes full ownership of outcomes, and drives performance across scheduling, field execution, and financial results. What You'll Do Own Project Execution Manage projects from internal operations kickoff through completion and final billing Deliver projects: On time with no avoidable delays Within or under labor budgets At or above target gross profit Ensure all work is completed before demobilization Drive clean project closeouts with minimal rework Lead Customer Experience Act as the single point of contact for customers throughout the project Communicate clearly on schedule, scope, inspections, and changes Proactively manage expectations and resolve issues Deliver a professional, organized, and high-quality customer experience Control Scope & Technical Quality Review estimates, plans, and specifications for accuracy and constructability Ensure compliance with NEC and local AHJ requirements Develop detailed Scopes of Work (SOW) for field teams Identify and resolve scope gaps before installation begins Manage all scope changes and project documentation Drive Scheduling & Readiness Build clean, proactive project schedules with no gaps
Coordinate:
Site walks and job walks Permits and inspections Material procurement and staging Utility and customer readiness Ensure projects are 100% ready before crews are dispatched Manage Field Performance Track daily progress, labor productivity, and budget performance Hold foremen and lead electricians accountable for execution Ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to standard Escalate performance or quality issues when needed Ensure Safety & Compliance Enforce company safety standards and OSHA requirements Confirm proper use of PPE and safe work practices Support a strong safety culture across all projects Own Financial Performance Manage job costs including labor, materials, and equipment Protect and exceed project margins Issue Change Orders for all out-of-scope work Align revenue with progress through timely invoicing: Immediate invoicing at completion or demobilization Percentage-complete billing when applicable Coordinate Materials & Resources Verify all materials and equipment prior to job start Ensure complete, install-ready material packages Maintain organized project documentation for field teams Support continuous workflow by keeping jobs ready for execution What You Bring as a Project Manager- Electrical Construction 3+ years of project management experience in electrical construction Strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and NEC code Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple projects Experience coordinating permits, inspections, and AHJs Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills High level of ownership and accountability What Success Looks Like Projects consistently delivered on time and under budget Gross profit meets or exceeds targets on every job Clean inspections and minimal rework Customers report a smooth, professional experience Strong control of labor efficiency and job costs Accurate, timely invoicing and change order management Why Join Us High-performance, accountability-driven culture Opportunity to lead meaningful electrical projects in the clean energy space Clear expectations and measurable success metrics Competitive compensation and growth opportunities
