Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MDU (Multiple Dwelling Unit) Foreman to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructures. This role is vital in ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive site supervision experience, and a thorough understanding of industry-specific tools and software. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate teams, manage resources, and ensure compliance with safety regulations to deliver exceptional results for our clients. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities related to MDU projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and blueprints. Lead and coordinate teams of technicians and subcontractors, providing clear direction and maintaining high safety standards. Oversee project scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation. Manage contracts, procurement processes, and budgets to ensure project profitability while maintaining quality standards. Conduct quality control inspections, utilizing tools such as ohmmeters and construction estimating software to verify work meets specifications. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately for installation procedures involving pipelines and other infrastructure components. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and enforce safety protocols across all construction sites. Utilize construction management software Monitor project progress through detailed project scheduling and management techniques; adjust plans proactively as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a focus on telecommunications or utility infrastructure projects involving pipelines or similar systems. Supervising experience on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety standards set by OSHA. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating processes. Strong knowledge of contracts management, budgeting practices, and project scheduling techniques. Hands-on experience with construction site operations including use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations is essential.
