Position Summary:
The Mobius Center Floater plays a key role in ensuring a safe, smooth, and engaging environment for students throughout their day at Mobius. This part-time position supports the flow of daily operations by assisting with student check-in and check-out, maintaining proper supervision ratios, and helping transition groups between learning and play spaces. Center Floaters bring energy, flexibility, and professionalism to each interaction—helping uphold the Mobius standard of excellence in both care and creativity. They are dependable, detail-oriented team members who understand that every moment—from arrival to departure—shapes a child's experience.
Role Support Daily Transitions:
Help guide and move student groups safely and efficiently between rooms such as art, science, technology, library, gym, and playground.
Check-In & Check-Out:
Greet families, assist with sign-in/sign-out procedures, and ensure accurate attendance tracking through Procare Software or other systems.
Maintain Ratios:
Monitor and balance group sizes throughout the day to ensure compliance with Wisconsin licensing standards. Assist in
Supervision:
Step into classrooms, playgrounds, or other areas as needed to support instructors and maintain a safe, positive environment. Engage with
Students:
Provide encouragement, redirect behavior as needed, and keep energy levels positive during transitions or waiting periods.
Support Operations:
Assist with light administrative duties, room setup, and maintaining clean, organized, and safe spaces.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate clearly with instructors and the Center Director to ensure seamless scheduling, coverage, and flow between rotations.
Requirements:
At least 16 years old. CPR certified or complete CPR training to meet preservice training requirements. (This will be provided / paid for by Mobius) Complete Mobius instructional training (provided)

$14.00 - $20.00 per hour
