Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Craftsman to lead and manage diverse construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee multiple trade specialties, coordinate with clients and teams, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. As a vital part of our construction management team, you will bring your expertise in various trades and a proactive approach to problem-solving to drive successful project outcomes. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are maintained at all times. Coordinate with our employees/clients/tenants to develop detailed work schedules and project timelines. Manage multiple trade activities including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, roofing, masonry, drywall installation, concrete finishing, tile laying, and more. Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of all tasks. Conduct regular site inspections using construction management tools like Bluebeam to monitor progress and identify potential issues early. Supervise the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fabrication processes to ensure safety and efficiency. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. Prepare detailed construction estimates and manage procurement of materials such as glass installation supplies, door hanging hardware, flooring materials, and stucco or plastering components. Lead troubleshooting efforts for on-site challenges related to restoration work or hardscape installations. Foster a collaborative team environment by mentoring workers in best practices for framing, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry, welding, and other trades. Experience Proven experience as a craftsman/handyman with extensive construction site management background. Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques. Demonstrated expertise across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, masonry, concrete finishing, tile laying, drywall installation, carpentry (frame carpentry & trim), stucco application, fabrication processes, and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation for complex building projects. Hands-on experience with construction inspection procedures ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality benchmarks. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in areas such as restoration or remodeling tasks. Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
