Project Managers & Estimators:

one for our Plumbing division and one for our HVAC-R division. Candidates need experience in one trade only. Plumbing candidates are not expected to have HVAC-R experience, and HVAC-R candidates are not expected to have plumbing experience. Each position is responsible for estimating and managing commercial projects within their respective division from initial bid through completion. We are looking for experienced professionals with strong technical knowledge who can accurately estimate projects, manage costs and schedules, coordinate with field personnel and customers, and take ownership of projects from start to finish. These are on-site positions with no overnight travel and offer long-term career opportunities with an established, family-owned company. Generous PTO:

40 hours upon hire 80 hours after 3 months, subject to a satisfactory 90-day performance evaluation 120 hours after 1 year, subject to meeting or exceeding performance expectations at annual review Paid holidays No overnight travel Stable, long-term career opportunity Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates, takeoffs, proposals, and competitive bids for commercial plumbing or HVAC-R projects within the applicable division Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid requirements Manage projects from preconstruction through completion and closeout Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls Coordinate field personnel, equipment, materials, vendors, and subcontractors Monitor job costs, purchasing, billing, change orders, and project profitability Communicate with customers, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field personnel throughout each project Track project progress and address scheduling, cost, material, or field issues as they arise Maintain accurate project documentation and records Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget Qualifications Previous estimating and project management experience in commercial plumbing or commercial HVAC-R Strong technical knowledge within the applicant's respective trade, including systems, equipment, materials, installation practices, and applicable codes Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents Experience with QuoteSoft estimating software preferred Comfortable using computers and accounting/project management software; ComputerEase experience preferred Strong estimating, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Ability to work independently, make decisions, and follow projects through completion Strong attention to detail and cost control Valid driver's license About Badger State, Inc.
