Job Description

SERVPRO Team Ray We are looking for a Construction Supervisor who can run residential construction and remodeling jobs with urgency, ownership, and attention to detail. This is not a "clipboard only" role. This person needs to be in the field, moving jobs forward, communicating with customers, using technology daily, documenting everything, and making sure projects do not sit still. Our work touches real homes, real families, and often customers who are dealing with stressful property damage situations. Our intake process covers residential and commercial losses, construction, affected rooms, flooring types, insurance, adjusters, and claim information, so this role needs someone who can keep details straight from the first call through final completion. What You'll Do You will oversee residential reconstruction and remodeling projects from start to finish. That includes coordinating trades, walking jobs, documenting progress, communicating with customers, keeping schedules moving, and making sure the finished product matches the scope.
You will be expected to:
Manage day-to-day construction activity on residential remodel and reconstruction jobs. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, internal teams, customers, adjusters, and office staff. Read and understand scopes, sketches, room measurements, line items, and job documentation. Keep projects moving with urgency. No babysitting, no dragging feet, no waiting around for someone else to solve the problem. Communicate clearly with homeowners so they know what is happening, what is next, and what we need from them. Catch details before they become problems. Document job progress using company technology, photos, notes, schedules, and task systems. Help identify change orders, missed scope, material issues, customer concerns, and schedule risks. Make sure work is clean, professional, safe, and done to SERVPRO Team Ray standards. Own the outcome. Our reconstruction work involves detailed scopes, room-by-room measurements, sketches, material costs, labor items, and documentation. Recent estimates show the level of detail involved, including room dimensions, affected areas, floor protection, cabinetry, plumbing, drying-related repairs, and recap-by-room/category summaries. The Person We Want We want someone with grit . Someone who does not fold when the day gets messy. Someone who can handle homeowners, trades, insurance work, schedule pressure, and jobsite surprises without getting sideways. We want someone with urgency . Not reckless. Not sloppy. But fast, proactive, and accountable. This role is for someone who sees a problem and attacks it before it becomes a bigger problem. We want someone who is strong with customer engagement . You need to be comfortable talking to homeowners, calming concerns, explaining next steps, and representing the company professionally. We want someone with serious attention to detail . Measurements, photos, notes, materials, schedules, punch lists, customer expectations, and job costs all matter.
And most importantly:
you must be good with technology. That is non-negotiable. If you hate apps, avoid systems, do not document well, or struggle with phones, tablets, photos, email, schedules, and job management software, this will not be the right environment for you. Our jobs depend on accurate digital documentation, timely updates, and tech-driven communication. Required Skills Residential construction or remodeling experience. Ability to supervise subcontractors and field crews. Strong customer communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to read scopes, sketches, measurements, and construction details. Comfortable using technology every day. Ability to take and upload photos, update notes, manage schedules, communicate digitally, and learn new software quickly. Strong follow-through. High urgency. High accountability. Clean, professional communication. Ability to handle conflict and solve problems in the field. Preferred Experience Insurance reconstruction experience. SERVPRO, restoration, mitigation, or rebuild experience. Xactimate, DocuSketch, job management software, CRM, scheduling, or project documentation experience. Experience working with adjusters, homeowners, and subcontractors. Knowledge of drywall, paint, flooring, trim, cabinets, doors, framing, and general residential remodeling.
This Role Is Not For Someone Who:
Needs constant reminders. Avoids technology. Lets jobs sit without updates. Struggles to communicate with customers. Does not document their work. Misses details. Blames everyone else. Cannot handle pressure.
This Role Is For Someone Who:
Takes ownership. Moves fast. Communicates clearly. Uses technology well. Handles customers professionally. Notices the details. Pushes jobs to completion. Wants to help build a serious construction operation. Bottom Line SERVPRO Team Ray needs a Construction Supervisor who can lead residential construction and remodeling jobs with grit, urgency, customer focus, and strong technology skills. If you can run jobs, solve problems, communicate with customers, document everything, and keep projects moving, we want to talk.
