(KAFASI) is a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and families in Kenosha County. Within KAFASI, the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) serves as a single point of entry for individuals seeking information, assistance, and access to long-term care options and community resources. The Information & Assistance Specialist Supervisor leads a dynamic team responsible for resource navigation, phone support, dementia care coordination, and management of the medical equipment loan closet. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and ongoing program improvement. The Supervisor also supports the organization's mission by fostering innovation, ensuring service excellence, and maintaining compliance with all county, state, and federal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a member of KAFASI's Senior Leadership Team and act as liaison between the Executive Director and I&A team members. Support and enforce company policies and procedures. Lead and support I&A staff, managing workflow, supervising performance, and ensuring adherence to KAFASI and ADRC policies. Develop, implement, and evaluate innovative solutions to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. Provide oversight and operational knowledge of all I&A services, including the Loan Closet, Dementia Care, Resource Navigation, and Phone Support. Provide coverage during staff absences as needed. Ensure team compliance with certification requirements, including obtaining or maintaining the Certified Resource Specialist - Aging and Disability (CRS-AD) credential within 12 months of hire. Participate in ADRC and state-level meetings and contribute to collaborative planning and quality improvement initiatives. Monitor program compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, timelines, and quality assurance protocols. Approve employee time off, process payroll and expense requests through Paycom, and manage through company system. Track program data to measure productivity, evaluate outcomes, and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with the IT department and Information & Assistance Resource Lead to maintain and update the internal resource database. Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high levels of consumer satisfaction. Participate in ongoing professional development, including training sessions and conferences, which may require travel. Stay informed about community resources, service guidelines, and industry best practices. Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the organization's quality standards at all times
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services related field 5+ years supervisory or management experience At least 1 year of direct experience working with older adults and/or individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid preferred Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and training capabilities. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and compassion Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Reliable insured vehicle Valid driver's license
