Driver's License Full Job Description Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Traveling Superintendent in Milwaukee, WI. The Traveling Superintendent leads on-site field operations for ground-up commercial and industrial construction projects throughout the United States. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with over 8 years of experience managing all phases of construction from site mobilization through project closeout while maintaining high safety and quality standards.Job Type:

OSHA 10 Certification OSHA 30Certification Valid Driver's License Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead on-site Superintendent responsible for overall field operations and daily project execution. Manage subcontractors, tradesmen, and site activities to maintain productivity, quality, and strict schedule adherence. Oversee ground-up construction projects from start to finish, coordinating all trades throughout the project lifecycle. Enforce OSHA standards and company safety policies, including conducting safety meetings, documentation, and SDS management. Coordinate site logistics including temporary power, water, sanitation, access, and overall site setup. Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings for accuracy and field execution. Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays, sequencing issues, and field conflicts to keep projects on track. Maintain daily reports, progress photos, punch lists, and inspections using Procore or similar construction management software. Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, inspectors, architects, and engineers to ensure compliance with project standards. Manage project closeout activities including final inspections, turnover documentation, and warranty follow-up.Qualifications:
8-10+ years of construction field supervision or Superintendent experience. Strong ground-up commercial or industrial construction experience managing projects from start to finish. Proven ability to oversee and coordinate all trades on-site independently. Proficiency using Procore, Microsoft Office, and other construction management software. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a safety-first mindset. Experience with nationwide travel and managing projects across multiple locations. Stable work history with clear project ownership and progression. Ability to manage site logistics, including equipment mobilization and material delivery sequencing.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Frequent walking, climbing ladders, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working at heights and in active construction environments around loud equipment. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must maintain awareness of surroundings and strictly follow all site safety procedures.Pay Transparency:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
