Superintendent -
About the OpportunityA growing commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation projects within the restaurant and retail sectors. This role is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys managing fast-paced projects and working directly with field teams, subcontractors, and owners to deliver high-quality projects on schedule.
The company specializes in national and regional restaurant brands, fast-casual dining concepts, and retail developments, with projects similar to Culver's, Blaze Pizza, and other well-known franchise and multi-site operators.
ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day field operations from project start through completion.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site activities.
Maintain project schedules and drive milestones to ensure on-time delivery.
Enforce safety standards and site compliance requirements.
Conduct quality control inspections and oversee punch list completion.
Communicate effectively with project managers, owners, architects, and inspectors.
Manage site logistics, documentation, and project reporting.
Qualifications5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
Experience with restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similar quick-turn projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, safety, and quality control.
Ability to travel as required for project assignments.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency with construction management technology is a plus.
