Cross Dock Site Manager

General Responsibilities:

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated Cross Dock Manager. The Cross Dock Manager will be responsible for all operational activities within the Cross Dock. The Cross Dock Manager oversees the operations of a distribution "cross dock" which serves to deconsolidate inbound truck loads and LTL shipments, and build outbound shipments of merchandise; including receiving of all products into system, control and audit vendor issues. This role would require compliance with established company policies and procedures.

Essential Job Duties:

Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse facility to reflect cleanliness, efficiency and organization. Supervises all warehouse personnel, assigns tasks and duties on a daily basis, i.e., shipping and receiving of inventory and proper storage of parts. Monitors accuracy of bin maintenance, stocking and transfer pulling to ensure customer satisfaction. Monitors expense budgets for repair and maintenance of equipment and overall building expenses. Responsible for training and development of all warehouse personnel, to include hiring and evaluating employees. Works directly with satellite managers Complies with all safety standards and requirements to assure a safe and hazard-free workplace. Initiate and support the continual improvement of our Industries' quality improvement system. Maintain daily, weekly, monthly reports assigned. Assumes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Prior management experience, preferably in warehouse and delivery, is required Must have sound decision-making and problem-solving skills Must have excellent customer service and follow-up skills Equipment operation knowledge/experience is preferred (i.e., forklift) Must be able to work independently and as part of a team Computer and clerical experience is preferred Ability to occasionally move/position product weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance Must be able to occasionally position self to maintain/move product throughout the facility and be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time Must be able to constantly work in an open/outdoor warehouse environment Salary $75,000 - $100,0000 depending on experience Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401k
