Who We're Looking For:

We are looking for an Civil / Underground Tech II to fulfill the responsibilities listed below. Key Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, assisting with permits and inspections as required. Execute civil tasks including operating equipment, and VAC operation. Perform civil work such as trenching, digging, and concrete forming/pouring. Provide technical support as needed. Generate and resolve punch lists during the project schedule and prior to customer inspections. Efficiently operate and adjust commonly used wireless industry tools. Perform duties in various weather conditions, including inclement weather. Work within traffic control as per city/county jurisdiction. Maintain and service equipment regularly.

Qualifications:

Ability to handle elevated work with a 50 lb. load. Experience working on ladders or bucket trucks. Capability to crouch, kneel, and twist throughout the workday. Willingness to travel up to 100% for extended periods if required. Flexibility for shift work, including maintenance windows and weekends. A valid Driver's License or CDL is a plus. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, regulations, manuals, blueprints, and specifications. Local to the market. AT&T/Verizon experience is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction and/or telecommunications. Experience with fiber testing and work is a plus. OSHA Safety standards certification is preferred (training provided).
