This position involves reviewing applications, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations, and coordinating with consultants, jurisdictions, and the public. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of land development processes to facilitate efficient permit processing and quality control. Duties Review permit applications for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all required documentation is submitted. Conduct data collection related to construction projects, including , approvals, and compliance records. Coordinate with development manager and construction team to verify adherence to approved plans and project conditions of approval. Assist with permitting construction plans in various jurisdictions for building and grading permits, including submittals, response to comments, and organizing resubmittals. Assist in the preparation of reports on permit status and project progress for internal use. Collaborate with development manager and teams to resolve issues related to permits or compliance with conditions of approval. Skills Background in permitting processing and land development is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction processes, land development, and permitting processing. Excellent analysis skills for reviewing submittal requirements and construction documents. Proficiency in data collection methods and recordkeeping systems related to building permits. Effective communication skills for liaising with consultants, government officials, and the public. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation and compliance assessments. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality control.
