Overview
As a Conformity Inspector (DAR), we are seeking an individual with DAR-F or DMIR, current or experienced. The individual will perform Conformity inspection for parts and issue airworthiness certificates. Current DMIR designees will need to apply for DAR-F delegation with the Los Angeles Certificate Management Section as soon as possible. This role will involve close collaboration with Quality Engineering, Joby Certification team, DERs, and the LA-CMS office. The Joby Aviation team is made up of extremely talented, hardworking, proactive, and hands-on individuals, operating in a very fast-paced and rewarding environment. You will contribute by supporting our type certification and production certification for Joby who is bringing new and novel products and processes to the industry and changing the future of transportation.
Responsibilities
Core function will be performing Conformity Inspections as a designee. This includes a specific focus on the following, including methods and results.
Perform and document conformity inspections.
Communicate with DERs for items determined unsatisfactory.
Provide regulatory perspective to Engineering and Manufacturing to drive improvement.
Submittal of all records as required.
Develop Joby inspectors as DMIR candidates.
Collaborate with DERs and Certification team to ensure RFC best practices.
Required

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $133,100 - $204,100 per year. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
