We are seeking an experienced Plans Examiner to review building plans and construction documents for compliance with applicable building codes, ordinances, and regulations. This role works closely with architects, engineers, contractors, homeowners, and regulatory agencies to support safe and compliant development projects.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required. One year of experience reviewing building plans for a public agency OR Three years of progressively responsible experience in architecture, engineering design, drafting, or related building plan review work OR Three years of experience as a Building Inspector for a public agency. Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, architectural and engineering principles, and permit processes.
