Roseville, CA Job Details Full-time $125,000 - $160,000 a year 4 hours ago Benefits Profit sharing Paid holidays 401(k) Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Flexible schedule Qualifications Non-CDL Class C Full Job Description BKF is hiring a Construction Inspector to execute onsite construction inspections to ensure the project is being constructed in compliance with the contract requirements and applicable permits.
Responsibilities:
General Inspect a variety of construction including but not limited to repair of pipelines, water mains, sewers, lift stations, and treatment plants. Advises Resident Engineer or Agency Project Manager and informs contractors of any variances from approved plans and specifications Takes samples of materials, prepares test specimens, and assist in conducting field tests, or refers samples for laboratory analysis Checks the location of public utilities to avoid interference with construction work Assists PM in review of project submittals, RFI's, and CCO's Verifies acceptability of material incorporated into the project by Certificates of Compliance, shop drawings, and test reports Maintains material and inspection records Maintains a daily diary, photo log, contract item quantities Other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum Education, Licensure, or Certification Required College degree or minimum 5 years' work experience in related field Valid California Class C driver's license and an acceptable driver's record are required Desired Certifications Certified Public Infrastructure Inspector (CPII) ICC Reinforced Concrete Inspection Certification ICC Masonry Inspection Certification ICC Welding Inspection Certification ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade 1 Certification Qualified SWPPP Certification Fall protection Safety Training First Aid & CPR Minimum Experience Required 4 + years of experience in the supervision or inspection of engineering construction work including reading and interpreting complex construction plans and specifications, OR 5 years' work experience in related trade/field Benefits The typical base salary range for this position is $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually, depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location, hourly wage Competitive salaries, profit sharing, and 401k.
