Project Overview The project involves rehabilitation of the Old Pinnacles Trailhead Parking Area Shuttle Stop within Pinnacles National Park. Construction activities will occur in an active public park that will remain open during construction. The project site is located in a rural area with limited staging space, specialized material delivery requirements, and environmental sensitivities requiring careful coordination and resource protection. Primary Responsibilities Provide on-site construction management support throughout the project. Monitor daily construction activities and verify compliance with contract documents. Assist the Government with Quality Assurance activities in accordance with project specifications. Verify implementation and effectiveness of the Contractor's Quality Control Plan. Conduct and participate in construction progress meetings. Review contractor submittals for completeness and compliance. Review Requests for Information (RFIs) and provide recommendations to the COR. Assist in preparing correspondence, meeting minutes, and construction documentation. Prepare independent cost estimates and review contractor cost proposals. Review certified payrolls and construction documentation. Prepare detailed daily and weekly construction reports. Maintain photographic documentation of construction progress. Track project schedule and monitor construction progress. Coordinate contractor activities with National Park Service operations to minimize visitor impacts. Observe construction testing and inspections. Assist with punch list development, project closeout, and final inspections. Ensure construction activities protect sensitive natural and cultural resources. Identify potential construction issues and recommend practical solutions to the Government. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 5 years of construction management experience on commercial, institutional, transportation, civil, or Federal construction projects. Experience providing construction management, construction inspection, resident engineering, or owner's representative services. Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and construction administration procedures.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience using Microsoft Project to review project schedules and critical path activities. OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (required or ability to obtain before project start). Strong written and verbal communication skills.
