As a Licensed Home Inspector, you will be at the forefront of maintaining high standards in home safety and building integrity, contributing to homeowners' peace of mind and community safety. Your expertise will help uphold construction regulations and building codes while supporting clients through comprehensive inspections. Responsibilities Conduct detailed on-site home inspections to evaluate structural integrity, electrical systems, plumbing, roofing, insulation, and overall building conditions. Analyze construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to verify compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Identify deficiencies or hazards related to construction quality, code violations, or safety concerns during inspections. Prepare thorough inspection reports using Microsoft Office tools, documenting findings with clarity and precision for clients and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to construction regulatory compliance standards by reviewing construction specifications and plans against actual site conditions. Collaborate with contractors, builders, and homeowners to discuss inspection results and recommend necessary repairs or improvements. Maintain accurate records of all inspections, data collection efforts, and regulatory documentation for audit purposes and future reference. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites or within civil infrastructure projects with a focus on public works or residential buildings. Strong knowledge of construction regulations, building code analysis, safety regulations, and quality control standards. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings such as schematics, blueprints, and construction plans. Demonstrated ability in conducting construction site inspections with attention to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with construction management practices including contracts, data collection procedures, and quality inspections. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for report writing and documentation purposes. Hands-on experience with construction inspection tools and techniques related to public infrastructure or pipeline projects is a plus.
