Prepare and process change orders and material testing reports. Maintain project records. Prepare construction progress meeting minutes. Review contractor's payment requests. Reviewing/tracking RFI's and submittals and following-up on status Document control. Assist with preparation of construction estimates and perform other related duties as assigned.Office Engineer Job Requirements:
NICET Level III certification in Transportation/Highway Construction is required. Possession of a current Professional Engineer's License registered inn the State of Connecticut (PE) or a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in a relevant field AND six (6) years of relevant experience may substitute for the NICET Level III certification. Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred. CTDOT experience preferred. Minimum of 8 years employment in construction projects (Highway, Facilities or Rail). Experience maintaining project records of which two (2) years must have been in a field capacity. Ability to prepare change orders, material testing reports, filing and considerable knowledge in establishing and maintaining project records. Ability to use applicable software and record keeping methods. Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.Pay Range:
$50 - $65 / hourLocation:
