Job Description
A private structural engineering firm looking for a Threshold Building Inspector. Candidate must exhibit a professional attitude; have innovative ideas and analytical problem solving skills.
- Authorized to work in USA.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution with a focus in structural engineering.
- Oversight residential and commercial projects during construction in the South Florida area (Miami and Broward). Areas of responsibilities included the following:
- Supervise all of the phases of the construction to make sure that the Contractor's work in compliance with EOR approved (permitted) plans: Analyze structural drawings and post-tensioned shop drawings .
- Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to Contractor and EOR's office to find solution and assist in preparing and reviewing RFI, etc.
- Field inspections and provide daily inspections reports.
- Candidate must be personable, capable of working independently and in a team environment.
- Team-oriented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of current USA design codes and standards.
- From 3 to 5 Years of experience minimum.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal direction.
- Time management skills, critical thinking, detailed oriented, and good organizational skills.

Full-time Pay:
$70,720.00- $79,040.
