• is actively seeking a highly skilled
• CEI Senior Inspector
• to join our team and support ongoing construction engineering and inspection efforts in the Ft Lauderdale, FL area.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring that major transportation and infrastructure projects are delivered in accordance with FDOT standards, contract requirements, and overall project objectives. + Performs highly complex technical assignments related to field surveying and construction layout, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications + Verifies engineering computations, inspects construction work, and conducts field testing to maintain quality and compliance standards + Coordinates, oversees, and provides guidance to junior inspectors to ensure consistent execution of inspection activities + Operates under the general supervision of the Project Administrator while exercising independent judgment in daily responsibilities + Utilizes experience and sound judgment to effectively plan, prioritize, and accomplish project goals + Establishes and manages project timelines and deadlines to support overall project delivery + Provides on-the-job training and mentorship to new team members to support their development and integration + Monitors conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and applicable code requirements through detailed inspection activities + Conducts daily field inspections and maintains accurate, organized inspection records and reports + Participates in punch list development, system testing, and commissioning activities to ensure project completion standards are met + Tracks and reports on quality assurance progress, identifying and addressing any deficiencies + Contributes to documentation for area and equipment turnover packages, ensuring completeness and accuracy for project closeout

• Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements:

• + High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education + U.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work + Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review

• Preferred Qualifications:

• + Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction + CTQP Final Estimates Level

• Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $33 to $45.
