Description CEI Inspector's Aide - Jacksonville, FL Halff is seeking a CEI Inspector's Aide in the Jacksonville region to act as our company representative on construction sites ensuring that workmanship and materials comply with specifications. This position helps assist higher level inspectors with certain phases of field representation on large complex projects. Learn about Halff and our 75th Anniversary!

What you will do:

Help assist higher level inspectors with the following: Check and verify accuracy of dimensions.

Observe work in progress to ensure that workmanship and materials used conform to specifications and contract documents.

Interpret plans and specifications for contractor and discuss deviations from specified construction procedures to ensure compliance with regulations governing construction.

Record quantities of materials received or used during specific periods and compute monthly estimates of work completed.

Maintain inspector's log of construction and inspection activities and compare progress reports.

What you will need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Outstanding relationships with owners, stakeholders and developers across multiple regions and disciplines.
