Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CEI Senior Inspector to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
Coordinate and manage the lower level inspectors and verification testing Responsible for daily inspection efforts on multiple complex, large, and /or diverse projects in order to ensure contractor's operations comply with project plans, specifications, and contract documents Monitor on-site construction activities; prepare daily and weekly reports on work accomplished by contractor and reviews periodical pay estimates with contractor for accuracy and track quantities of completed work Prepare sketches and assemble data for Project Administrator to utilize when making changes to the project Perform field inspection of contractors' operations to confirm compliance with contract documents; prepare inspection reports Prepare Daily Reports in Site Manager software as well as any other client required documentation Perform field sampling and testing of component materials and completed work in accordance with the construction contract and client's scope of services (plans, specifications, and special provisions) Inspect traffic control devices and report deficiencies to ensure compliance with standards Maintain detailed accurate records of daily operations and significant events Participate in the development of job safety practices and observe general job safety practices Monitor and inspect the Work Zone Traffic Control (in accordance with the client's requirements) Available to work daytime, nightime, and/or weekend shifts as required Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
High School Diploma and Associate's Degree in a technical discipline/construction related field, or equivalent work experience 10+ years of related experience in construction inspection
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Have or be able to earn within 6 months, the following qualifications: FDOT Field Concrete Technician
FDOT WECS
Erosion Control ATSSA Advanced Traffic Control Nuclear Radiation Safety Certificate Passing scores on FDOT's Construction Engineering Inspection Training tests Group 1 (General Provisions, Auxiliary Items, Basic Highway Math, and Basic Highway Plan Reading) Passing scores on FDOT's Construction Engineering Inspection Training tests Group 2 (Pavements, Bases and Subbases, Minor Drainage Structures, Construction Erosion Control) Passing scores on FDOT's Construction Engineering Inspection Training tests Group 3 (Earthwork, Bridges, Incidental Items) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited university may be substituted for experience EIT License, if applicable.

Salary Range:
