REQUIREMENTS
One (1) year of experience operating moderately complex automotive vehicles and equipment such as ten-wheel dump trucks used for hauling construction materials to build roads and install drainage structures. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Experience in roadway construction, and a work management system that includes tasks such as opening and closing work orders and uploading photo documentation is preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment. This is heavy physical work and requires exposure to construction debris, moving machinery, traffic, noise, dirt, dust, water, and extreme weather conditions. In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed. $18.88 to $20.77 hourly . Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area/Melbourne. Work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Performs experienced service maintenance work operating moderately complex automotive vehicles or equipment and performing routine automotive service and maintenance.
