RK&K's Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) and Construction Management Division is hiring Senior Construction Inspectors in Central Florida. As a Senior Construction Inspector with RK&K you will strengthen our construction engineering and inspection business while leading complex and routine inspections on projects including: highway, bridge, design/design-build projects. This position also includes supporting inspection and quality control measures for projects and assignments related to site development, new construction, and replacement, rehabilitation, and repair of county/city owned infrastructure. Opportunities for growth and training into construction management and office engineering careers. Essential Functions
- Provide construction management support, including inspection and monitoring of construction structures to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Fully engage in solving complex problems to provide technical evaluation and sound solutions
- Monitor the activities of other Inspectors
- Ability to communicate effectively across different platforms with project management, clients, stakeholders, and contractors
- Interface with clients, state and federal agencies, and other engineering disciplines on construction projects
- Recordkeeping and reporting as required
