Construction Engineering Inspector Tampa, FL Onyx Enterprise, Inc. is currently searching for a full-time Construction Engineering Inspector who will provide technical oversight, construction engineering, and field coordination for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects throughout the Tampa Bay region. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) 3-8 years of experience in construction engineering or CEI for water/wastewater/stormwater projects Knowledge of Florida construction standards and permitting requirements Experience with

FDOT LAP

projects and utility coordination preferred Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing Proficiency in project documentation tools and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with coastal resiliency, flood control, and green infrastructure systems

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Management & Oversight Serve as the on-site engineering representative for water resources projects, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, and stormwater systems Monitor contractor activities for compliance with plans, specifications, and contract documents Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders for technical accuracy Coordinate daily construction activities with contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders Field Engineering & Inspection Monitor contractor activities for compliance with plans, specifications, and contract documents Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders for technical accuracy Coordinate daily construction activities with contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders Project Coordination Monitor contractor activities for compliance with plans, specifications, and contract documents Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders for technical accuracy Coordinate daily construction activities with contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders Compliance & Documentation Monitor contractor activities for compliance with plans, specifications, and contract documents Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders for technical accuracy Coordinate daily construction activities with contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders Does this sound like the position for you?
