Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Construction Management / Permit Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This energetic position requires a proactive approach to managing permits, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and coordinating construction activities to keep projects on track. Your expertise in construction management, project coordination, and quality control will drive successful project delivery while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Duties Manage the permit application process, ensuring all necessary documentation is submitted accurately and on time to local authorities. Coordinate with city officials, inspectors to facilitate smooth permit approvals and inspections. Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to approved plans, safety protocols, and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections for quality control and construction inspection purposes, identifying issues early and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers and contractors to develop realistic schedules, budgets, and resource plans for construction projects. Maintain detailed records of permits, inspection reports, and project documentation for compliance and audit purposes. Monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any delays or issues promptly to keep projects moving forward efficiently. Qualifications Preferred Proven experience in construction management or related roles within the construction industry. Knowledge of construction estimating, quality control procedures, and inspection techniques Project management skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage permits, inspections, and documentation meticulously. Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with inspectors, contractors, and team members.
