Job Description
Job Type Contract / 1099 Part-time / As-needed Flexible schedule Pay $75-$150 per property (based on scope) Job Summary We are seeking reliable, professional experienced construction professional to capture basic photo documentation for select commercial real estate properties in the St. Charles, IL and surrounding area. No professional photography experience is required — smartphone cameras are acceptable . Responsibilities Visit active commercial construction projects documenting construction progress Taking photographs Estimating percent complete by trade Identify stored materials or potential issues Submit a brief electronic inspection report Follow provided photo guidelines and submission instructions Communicate professionally with on-site property management when necessary Upload photos within required timeframes Represent our company in a professional and courteous manner Requirements Reliable transportation Smartphone with a quality camera Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines Professional appearance and communication skills Comfortable interacting with property managers or site contacts when needed Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidates are retired or semi-retired general contractors, commercial contractors, superintendents, project managers, estimators, commercial building inspectors, owner's representatives, or other experienced commercial construction professionals looking for flexible supplemental income Why This Role Is a Good Fit The schedule is flexible, with inspections typically completed during normal weekday construction hours The position is designed for experienced construction professionals and offers approximately 8-10 inspections per month No photo editing or professional equipment required Additional Information This role is a 1099 independent contractor position
