In this vital role, you will evaluate residential buildings to determine their energy efficiency potential and identify opportunities for weatherization improvements. Your expertise will help clients reduce energy costs, improve comfort, and contribute to sustainability efforts. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of buildings, including visual inspections and analysis of existing conditions to identify weatherization needs Perform quality control and quality inspection tasks during the installation of weatherization measures to ensure adherence to standards and specifications Collect and analyze data related to building performance, air leakage, insulation levels, and other key metrics Proven experience in construction inspection, quality control, or related roles within the construction or energy efficiency sectors Within one year of joining the Weatherization program team, the Weatherization Assessor will attend and pass DCEO training program TCP. Familiarity with construction site processes, safety standards, and contract management practices Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating building systems and identifying appropriate weatherization solutions Previous work on construction projects involving insulation, sealing, or energy upgrades is highly desirable.
