Job Description

QA/QC Superintendent The Personnel Consulting Group is seeking an experienced QA/QC Superintendent to lead Quality Control operations for a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) civil construction and coastal project located in Pecan Island, Louisiana for a respected heavy civil client of ours. This role is responsible for enforcing the Project Quality Control Plan, maintaining complete contract compliance, and managing daily inspections in accordance with USACE standards. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage the site-specific Quality Control (QC) Plan following USACE contract specifications. Conduct and document the USACE Three Phases of Control (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up inspections) for all features of work. Prepare and submit daily QC reports and documentation utilizing the USACE Resident Management System (RMS 3.0). Perform daily site inspections for earthwork, civil structure installations, and material compliance. Coordinate directly with USACE project personnel, third-party testing labs, and subcontractors to resolve non-conformance issues. Review submittals, test reports, and material delivery logs prior to installation. Collaborate with the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to enforce project safety in accordance with
USACE EM 385-1-1.
Requirements Experience:
5+ years of quality management or superintendent experience on USACE, federal, or heavy civil construction projects.
Software:
Proficiency with
USACE RMS 3.0
software and standard office applications.
Safety Knowledge:
Familiarity with
USACE EM 385-1-1
safety standards and OSHA requirements.

On-site in Pecan Island, LA.
