- Madison Parish This position is responsible for assisting professional engineer and/or higher level technicians in the performance of construction inspection work.
Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
The job duties for this position include but are not limited to the following: Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with departmental policies, standards, specifications, and project plans. Complete and process construction documentation such as field diaries, reports, and estimates. Enter, review, and maintain construction project data in departmental systems (e.g., MATT, Site Manager, Content Manager). Apply DOTD engineering policies and procedures while working in the Project Engineer's office and at construction sites. Serve as the primary construction inspector in assigned areas of specialization or certification. Determine material sampling requirements and verify materials, haul quantities, and survey elevations and alignments. Complete required training and support efficient project operations, including assisting other staff as needed.Position-Specific Details:

- Starting salary is $1372.00/bi-weekly Construction Inspector 3
- Starting salary is $1570.40/bi-weekly Construction Inspector 4
- Starting salary is $1797.
Compensation:
This position is eligible for premium pay for every hour worked: Construction Inspector 1-4- $2.
Work Schedule:
