We are looking for multiple Building Inspectors to join our team in the Detroit Metro area. ASAP! Positions are filling up fast, apply today before you miss this great opportunity in today's tight market!
Building Inspector Requirements:
4-5 Years of Building Services/Inspection in Building, Mech./HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing required Michigan Act 407 Cert in Building, Mechanical/HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing Inspection OR Plans Examiner Cert required Experience with BS&A Permitting/Inspection Software preferred Experience with Municipal Inspection/Code Enforcement preferred
Building Inspector Benefits:
$65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year Top Benefits Plenty of OT PTO 401k &
More Building Inspector Responsibilities:
This role involves inspecting building, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems to ensure projects meet code and safety requirements Responsibilities include conducting inspections, reviewing plans and permits, documenting findings, preparing reports, maintaining records, and supporting code compliance activities Additional duties include plan reviews, rental housing inspections, and working with contractors, developers, property owners, and municipal staff throughout the inspection process Work may involve new construction, renovations, tenant improvements, occupancy inspections, permit reviews, rental housing inspections, and other development projects Inspections may include building, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, water, sewer, gas, and other building systems within residential, commercial, industrial, multifamily, and municipal properties throughout the Metro Detroit area Please be on the lookout for a (774) area code calling you.
