Job Description
Currently accepting applicants for 2nd shift! The 2nd Shift Quality Inspector's role is to inspect parts in the various stages of production, including finished goods, to verify conformance to the drawing and internal requirements to meet or exceed the customers' expectations.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Inspect materials or assembled parts and products for defects and deviations from specifications. Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments. Capture non-conformance information to notify management on process / product issues. Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality. Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and always endures duties of high-quality standards. Special assignments as necessary.Job Requirements:
Must have experience in a manufacturing QC environment, including electrical and mechanical assembly inspections. Must have knowledge of how to properly use handheld measurement tools to include decimal and fraction readings. Proficiency in viewing and interpreting fabrication drawings. Physical abilities to lift 45 lbs unassisted.
