Hours:
Standard Hours/Flexible 1st for Inspection We're seeking a Senior Geotechnical Inspector to oversee construction activities in the field and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with engineering plans and codes. This role is highly hands-on, working outdoors on active construction sites, inspecting foundations, soils, utilities, concrete, and sitework installations.
Responsibilities:
Perform geotechnical and construction special inspections Observe deep foundations, soil compaction, utilities, rebar, and concrete work Conduct field testing and collect samples for lab analysis Document daily site activities and prepare reports Review plans and verify measurements, elevations, and materials Support environmental monitoring and sampling Mentor junior staff and ensure all safety protocols are followed
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering; 8-10+ years of related experience NY Professional Engineer (PE) required OSHA 40-hr
HAZWOPER
