This is a tremendous opportunity for experienced candidates to join and contribute to the growth of a 100% employee-owned, engineering firm. Salary commensurate with experience. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Construction Inspector with 1+ year of experience to join our team. This position involves construction phase testing and inspection of foundation construction; earthwork; soil placement and compaction; concrete; reinforcing steel; and various other construction materials and operations.

Location:

Buffalo, NY Responsibilities:

Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, and steel); Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results; Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis; Preparation of field data and technical reports; and Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections.

Requirements:

1 year experience in field construction inspection and testing; Associates Degree; Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification; Prior experience with geotechnical and/or environmental field investigation highly preferred; and ACI, AASHTO, or ICC certifications highly preferred.
