RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, and steel); Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results; Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis; Preparation of field data and technical reports; and Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS
1 year experience in field construction inspection and testing; experienced with concrete testing, asphalt testing, and soil testing.
Associates Degree Preferred certifications include:
ACI Field Technician I (ACI 1) Nuclear Density Gauge certification ICC Soils ICC Concrete Placement ICC Reinforced Concrete ICC Structural Masonry ICC Structural Steel & Bolting New York State HMA (hot mix asphalt) certification a plus Previous experience in a soils or materials laboratory is a plus System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
